I am delighted to be preparing for my exhibition ‘The Lay of the Land’ which will be showing at Alchemist Gallery in Dingwall from July 18th to August 27th this year. New work will be shown and I will also be conducting an accompanying workshop ‘An Introduction to Botanical Printing (Ecoprinting)’ at the Dingwall Community Centre on Saturday July 20th. I will be doing a ‘meet the Artist’ talk on Saturday 10th August from 11am to 1pm. It was a pleasure to have work included in PRISM’s exhibition this year called ‘Edgelands’. My response to the theme was based around the changing lands around where I live; specifically exploring the differing approaches and contrasting thoughts around ‘Rewilding’ projects in the area. As I wals, often I move through quite contrasting terrains. These contrasts tend to be influenced by how humans manage the land and where the land ceases to be heavily managed. those changes or boundaries were in my thoughts as I worked on the pieces for Edgelands

I was delighted to have a feature written about my work in a recent edition of Living magazine. I cannot thank Anna Gunn enough for initially approaching me about my work and writing such a lovely article following an interview which felt far more like a really good chat more than an interview.

Following such a long period of lockdown with no open exhibitions, so many cancellations and virtual exhibitions, it is so lovely and exciting to be taking part in some great exhibitions within beautiful venues. The Prism exhibition ‘In Search of Possibilities’ is showing at The Art Pavilion, Mile End and I am delighted to have four pieces included in this wonderfully diverse and exciting exhibition of beautiful work.

The knit and Stitch Show will be opening in London at Alexandra Palace and then moving on to Harrogate. My stitched self portrait will  be exhibited during this show in the self portraits section.
